Freshman Chase Ambulance to Awesome Party
With all those bells and whistles it might as well be an advertisement
Harvard - 2004 In a desire to join in on the alcohol-poisoning frenzy, a group of Harvard freshmen followed an ambulance to Currier House last Saturday. "When we saw that ambulance zooming up towards the Quad, we knew there was plenty more booze where that came from," said Mario Jefe '08. He and a group of ten other first-years ran behind the ambulance all the way from Johnston Gate to Currier. "Unfortunately, for the guy they were picking up, but fortunately for us, the traffic was pretty bad," said Joe Francis, another member of the pack. "It also helped that some of us darted in front of the ambulance to slow it down," he added. Upon arriving, the freshmen discovered that the party was every bit as cool as anticipated. "This party's ROCKIN'!" exclaimed host Stephen Whitaker as he dangled the comatose body of roommate Eric Wolf out the window to demonstrate the abundance of alcohol in his Currier suite. Paramedics stopped for a few drinks provided by Whitake before rushing Wolf to UHS. Wolf has been transferred by helicopter to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and remains in critical condition. Freshman following the helicopter give the Medical Center a B- for alcohol, but an A for play. |
